Akshar Minerals Kaolin is a naturally occurring Hydrated Aluminium Silicate crystalline mineral. It is characterized by its lamellar or platy particle shape, fine particle size and chemical inertness. The combination of platy shape and fine particles size results in improved characteristics and makes it suitable for different applications.
The chemical formula for china clay used in mineralogy is Al2Si2O5(OH4).
